Grass Snake is also called with "Ringed snake" and "water snake" that's because it is often found in the place near on the water. that mean you can sometimes easy t find them in the water place. And Grass Snake is called by Ringed snake because it has a characteristic yellow collar behind it's head.

Grass snake is typically have dark green or brown colors. Grass snake is unvenomous snake, its means that it is harmless to man. And word "Grass Snake" is also used in North America to refer to a Smooth Green Snake and the Rough Green Snake.

And we often heard the British Grass Snake and English Grass Snake because Grass snake is a Europan snake and Grass snake is one of only three snakes to occur in Great Britain (English).

Grass snake length is up to 190 centimetres. And they eat almost of Frog n toad (amphibians) but sometimes Grass snake eat a small fish like Goldfish.
