Black Snake is The genus Pseudechis that contains the group of elapid, it is commonly referred to as the Black Snakes. These Black Snake are found in every Australian state with the exception of Tasmania, and some species of this Black Snake are found in Papua New Guinea. They inhabit a variety of habitat types, from arid areas to swampland. All species of this Black Snake are dangerous and can inflict a potentially lethal bite, it's means that the Black Snake is dangerous snake and we have to be careful to this Black Snake.
The Most snakes in this genus reach about 2 meters and various in colour. Some species of this Black Snake are brown, where the others may be black. The most recognisable and widespread this black snake's species in the genus are the Red-bellied Black Snake and the Mulga Snake (King Brown).
About the food and preys, Black snakes usually like to eat on lizards, frogs, birds, small mammals and even other snakes. All species, except the Red-bellied Black Snake are egg laying.
