Madagascar Ground Boa or "Boa madagascariensis" is a species of the Boidae family that is endemic to the island of Madagascar. A common name of this Madagascar Ground Boa is Madagascar or Malagasy ground boa.

This species of Madagascar Ground Boa is included in the Boidae family of snakes, subfamily Boinae, but tthere is no subspecies are currently recognized. Madagascar Ground Boa is also described as a species in the genus Acrantophis.

The adult females of Madagascar Ground Boa can be up to 10 feet (3.05 metres), but males are typically smaller, the average size of the population is 8 feet (2.44 m) in length. And this Madagascar Ground Boa is the largest snake species found on the island of Madagascar. Boa madagascariensis, just like others in the family usually dispatch their prey by constriction.
